Harris started as a fish house. Canton still runs freshwater and a dedicated marine room, a limited number of pond installs, and sugar gliders when they have them. The front of the shop is the herp collection.
Marine & coral
A dedicated reef room: marine fish, mushroom and leather corals, star polyps, shrimp, crabs, snails, salt, supplements, and food. Call for a named coral. Livestock rotates — the tanks are the list.
Ponds
Limited garden-pond installs each year. Streams, waterfalls, bogs, fountains, lights. They will stock it with fish and plants and stay on the line for size, placement, wildlife, and maintenance. Free estimate.
Garden ponds
A limited number each year.
Done properly, a koi or goldfish pond is an ecosystem, not a hole with a pump. Harris will talk size, placement, construction, wildlife, and maintenance, then stock it. Call for a free estimate on the property.
Sugar gliders
Marsupials, not flying squirrels. Ten to twelve years if you do it honestly. Cage, nest, and diet before money moves. They sell a complete glider diet — not an impulse pet, and not a weekend hamster.
Other mammals
Rotating, when they have them. The center of gravity is still herps.
Birds
They can order birds. They no longer keep them on the floor. Call before you drive for a named bird.
