Blue-tongue skink
Tiliqua sp.
Omnivore, terrestrial, a face like a sausage with opinions.
- Handling
- Personable for a skink. Still a lizard — read the room.
- Enclosure
- Long floor plan, hide, water they can soak in, a basking rock that actually gets hot.
- Heat
- Basking 90–95°F. Cool side the mid-70s.
- Humidity
- Varies by locality. Northern animals run drier. Ask which one is on the rack.
- Diet
- Mixed: greens, protein, quality wet food. They are not a cricket-only lizard.
A second lizard. Bring the enclosure plan.
