Easy to keep clean, easy to feed, a hide and a heat source. Harris names this first.

Handling
The handling snake. Secure cage, then you pick it up.
Enclosure
Escape-proof lid. Hide, water, aspen or similar. Hatchlings in a smaller box.
Heat
75–82°F ambient, a warm end near 85°F.
Humidity
40–50%. Dry is safer than damp.
Diet
Frozen/thawed mice. Regulars buy feeders here even when they are not adding an animal.
